It would be very hard to write and not enjoy it I think. shudders...flashback of papers written in university.
My mother and she would die if she read this, is a bit repressed. I think she gets worse as time goes on. She isn't a reader either. It is my dad who fostered my love of reading and I really don't want to know he read Russian Pawn. I write erotica and paranormal fantasy because I like to read those. I love almost all genres though. If it is well written then it can be enjoyed in my opinion.Electa Grahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14945320590156837201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-622593414333430781.post-34957791209868799872012-07-23T12:57:50.654-07:002012-07-23T12:57:50.654-07:00Don't think it matters what you write--just t...Don't think it matters what you write--just that you do! I wrote a short story which was referred to on Fanstory as "Purple Prose". Was fun to write!
I think a writer should write what he or she enjoys writing about!Marla Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04004295584548524776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-622593414333430781.post-13633177066390357182012-07-23T07:28:03.543-07:002012-07-23T07:28:03.543-07:00My mom has always read smut of varying kinds, and ...My mom has always read smut of varying kinds, and was recently asking me about whether I had read 50 Shades (I have not) because she had finished the series. So I know she's into erotica and it takes a lot for her to call something"dirty." That said, I'd prefer she didn't read my posts at BTCD or, if she does, that she doesn't know it's me who wrote them. In my case it's not even about fantasy, it's about reality. I write what I KNOW (or at least that's been my focus so far) and to read my posts is to get a very explicit peek into my personal sex life. That's the mortifying part that I'd prefer to keep separate from my family.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
